Elke started her photography career in London, where she studied and worked as a professional photographer for nearly 20 years after leaving her native Germany. Since 2013, she has been based in Melbourne.
Elke undertakes a wide range of commissions including portraiture, lifestyle & corporate photography and is interested in commecial and creative work alike. Telling people's stories is central to Elke's work and she uses lighting to great effect to create unique moods.
Elkes work has been exhibited widely and was shown in the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra in 2015.
